Mexico City Weather
Mild climate all year round
Because of the high altitude (7800 feet), Mexico city has a mild climate all
year round.
Average temperatures in summer and winter don't differ that much, although, of course, wintertime is a little bit colder.
All year long the evenings may be too cold to go out without a jacket.
The rainy season lasts from June to September. Normally it rains only for a few hours after which the sun starts shining again,
and the air is much more clean by then.
The hottest weather is in the months March, April, May and June.
Overall precipitation is heavily concentrated in the summer months, including dense hail.
The central valley of Mexico rarely gets precipitation in the form of snow during winter

The lower region of the valley receives less rainfall than the upper regions of the south; the lower boroughs of Iztapalapa,
Iztacalco, Venustiano Carranza and the west portion of Gustavo A. Madero are usually drier and warmer than the
upper southern boroughs of Tlalpan and Milpa Alta, a mountainous region of pine and oak trees known as the range of Ajusco.
