Hurricane season in Puerto Vallarta

Puerto Vallarta has been struck by a hurricane only once in the past 35 years: in 2002 hurricane Kenna struck Puerto Vallarta, and caused
and the about $100 Million in damage, about 100 people were injured.
Lastly, we want to warn you to take care while
you are sunbathing.
With the burning sun in Puerta vallarta you won't be the first vacationer who
ends up looking like a lobster!
Be sure to not lay out on the beach during the hottest time of day without
protection.
Use a good sunscreen, wear a sombrero if you like and be sure you always have plenty of
water with you!
You may think you're out of danger when you take a refreshing swim in
the sea, but sometimes this is even more dangerous than laying on the beach
because you weren't aware of the warning signs your body would
gave
you when you weren't in the sea!
